Texture by Arwa Design Studio created Al Malqa Project as a refined contemporary family interior that reflects the client’s elegant personality while supporting modern living and social gatherings. The practice focused on achieving a luxurious environment that feels warm, comfortable and practical, rather than overly formal. An open plan layout connects the living area, dining space, library and kitchen, while giving each space its own distinct identity through thoughtful planning and furniture placement that improves circulation and accommodates both everyday family life and larger gatherings.

A carefully considered palette of natural materials, rich textures and warm tones creates a cohesive interior. Italian Arabescato Orobico marble introduces movement and character, balanced by oak veneer, natural rattan and soft upholstery to bring warmth and comfort. A burgundy sofa with fringe detailing provides a striking focal point that adds personality within the otherwise neutral scheme.

The bespoke library is the defining architectural feature, combining display, storage and elegant detailing. It also conceals the kitchen entrance within the joinery, creating a seamless appearance that maintains clean visual lines throughout the space. Handcrafted floral plaster artwork, produced in Greece with selected flowers finished in genuine gold leaf, introduces an additional layer of craftsmanship and individuality.
