L HOUSE LUXURY RESIDENTIAL is a complete remodelling of a three-storey family residence by BllendDesignOffice, conceived as a dialogue between heritage and contemporary living. Located in the northern suburbs of Athens among grand villas known for their rich history and timeless interiors, the project reimagines the home as a sophisticated yet welcoming environment for a family of three and their many social gatherings.

The client’s brief focused primarily on the organisation and operation of the spaces, allowing BllendDesignOffice the creative freedom to develop a concept that would express the family’s personality while remaining elegant, enduring and inviting. The result is a layered interior that balances luxury with comfort, combining classic references with contemporary design in a way that feels refined rather than overstated.

Throughout the home, herringbone timber flooring provides a foundation of traditional character, while marble-effect ceramic slabs introduce understated luxury. Rich textures, including deep jewel-toned velvets, are complemented by gold accents and bespoke timber elements crafted through advanced CAD/CAM technologies and Cleaf surfaces. The staircase combines ceramic materials with timber to evoke the elegance of stone alongside the warmth of nature.

Art plays a central role in unifying the contrasting design language. Contemporary photography by Reka Nyari introduces an anti-conformist edge within the dining area, while gold-leaf figures by Alekos Fasianos bring classical depth to the living space. This curated blend of old and new reflects an eclectic Parisian déco influence, where timeless elegance meets creative freedom. Through meticulous detailing, material expertise and a deep understanding of colour and lighting, BllendDesignOffice created a home that fully realised the client’s aspirations.
