The Lumen House

Lumen House represents a masterful orchestration of light, art, and architectural expression by AND DESIGN CO. Drawing inspiration from Cubist and Bauhaus influences, the project unites sculptural furniture, vibrant hues, and rich materiality to form a residence that is both immersive and timeless in character.

At its core, a central courtyard serves as the spatial and emotional heart of the home, fostering openness and fluidity while allowing natural light to animate the interiors throughout the day. This deliberate interplay between light and structure instils the residence with warmth, rhythm, and vitality.

The client’s vision extended beyond the creation of a conventional dwelling. The brief called for an immersive experience, a living gallery where architecture, art, and light converge in harmony. AND DESIGN CO responded with a bold and expressive concept that reflects a deep connection to nature while embracing modernist sensibilities. Each element within the home was meticulously considered to evoke emotion, from the tactility of surfaces to the sculptural presence of bespoke furnishings.
