The client requested a home that ensured privacy, serenity, and a continuous relationship with the surrounding landscape. In response, Ayse Kubilay Architecture developed a spatial composition that harmonises generous social areas for entertaining with distinctly organised private family zones that support the rhythms of daily life. Functional requirements were prioritised, including a walk-in closet, children’s study and play areas, a guest suite, staff quarters, and a pool, ensuring a fully serviced and comfortable living environment.
The ground floor operates as the home’s primary social centre, where living and dining areas open directly to the garden while guest and service functions remain discreetly integrated. The upper floor forms a complete family retreat, housing the primary suite, children’s suite, and an intimate family sitting area designed to encourage togetherness. Both levels are connected by a newly designed sculptural staircase, steel-framed and clad in natural wood veneers, visible through the double-height glazed façade and reinforcing the residence’s architectural identity and its visual connection to nature.
