Bernd Gruber GmbH has created a distinctive interior concept in Lech am Arlberg, where historical heritage is thoughtfully combined with contemporary gastronomy, design, and club culture. In collaboration with Jürgen Kitzmüller Architektur, the historic building stock has been carefully preserved and extensively restored, ensuring that the original character of the structure remains intact while being reinterpreted for modern use.

Within approximately 430 m², Bernd Gruber GmbH has developed a multifaceted destination that integrates fine dining with a relaxed bistro atmosphere, a curated retail experience, and a vibrant nightlife concept. The result is a layered environment shaped by precision, craftsmanship, and a clear understanding of the client’s vision. The project establishes a unique social hub in the heart of Lech, defined by cultural sensitivity and a deep respect for architectural heritage.

The design approach is characterised by refined understatement, beginning with the wood-panelled core of the building, which serves as a central reference point. From this foundation, Bernd Gruber GmbH developed a cohesive interior language that responds directly to the alpine context. Soft forms, natural travertine stone, bespoke wood and metal detailing, and carefully applied antique glazing define the material palette. Warm, harmonious tones extend across all levels, creating a continuous spatial narrative and evoking a subtle Mediterranean lightness that reflects the clients’ aspirations for comfort and atmosphere.
