Bishop Design LLC has created a hospitality destination that reimagines the golden age of brasserie dining through a contemporary lens. Brasserie Astoria Marbella balances Nordic precision with Mediterranean warmth, delivering an experience where architecture, atmosphere and storytelling come together. Inspired by the grandeur of classic dining halls, the restaurant invites guests into a setting designed to encourage connection, celebration and memorable dining experiences.

The design language is rooted in a dialogue between Scandinavian restraint and Mediterranean character. Clean detailing, symmetry and structured forms are softened by tactile materials, layered textures and sunlit finishes. A hand-painted mural by local artist Sebastian Marc Graham introduces a distinctly local dimension, embedding cultural identity into the space and strengthening its connection to the Mediterranean spirit.

Within the main dining hall, lofty ceilings, elegant columns and plush velvet seating establish a sense of refined grandeur. At its centre, the open kitchen becomes a focal point, animated by flambé trolleys and tableside rituals that bring a theatrical quality to the dining experience. Curved banquettes, sculptural lighting, overhead greenery and playful artwork create a lively rhythm throughout the interior, balancing sophistication with warmth and comfort.

Beyond the dining room, Bishop Design LLC has crafted a series of spaces that maintain a cohesive identity while offering distinct experiences. Private dining rooms provide intimacy and discretion, while expansive terraces capture Marbella’s vibrant atmosphere through a seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor living. Lush greenery weaves throughout the architecture, enhancing the sense of openness and versatility. The result is a destination where heritage, artistry and contemporary design unite to create an unforgettable hospitality experience on the Costa del Sol.
