At the heart of the building, a two-storey glass void is finished in ombre clay, from deep rose to soft peach. Christopher Boots’ crystal “Wings of Pegasus” suspend mid-air, symbolising creativity and divine beauty. The Paper Floor features ceiling roses by Andy Singleton, modelled on Poseidon and Venus, glowing above treatment beds. Through material, myth and technology, North creates a poetic space that fuses the past with the future of beauty.
Blainey North’s design for a five-storey space in Mayfair is a landmark celebration of skin, the body, and the gaze. Commissioned by Dr Joseph Hkeik, a sculptor-turned-aesthetic doctor, the project reflects his belief in honouring individual beauty over symmetrical perfection. North’s concept draws inspiration from the great figurative sculptors and their exploration of identity, physicality and perception.
