A central feature is the bar-restaurant, inspired by Frida Kahlo. Here, sculptor Clémentine de Chabaneix’s monumental bronze door welcomes guests into a vibrant setting with exotic woodwork by Thierry Martenon and Murano glass fixtures by Aristide Najean. Every detail reflects Jibert’s vision of Parisian elegance, where past and present coexist seamlessly.
Maison Barrière Vendôme is a five-star boutique hotel just steps from Place Vendôme, transformed by Daniel Jibert Architecture into a refined haven of Parisian elegance. The project centred on creating 26 rooms and suites, each uniquely designed to honour 27 exceptional women connected to the history of Paris. With rooms averaging only 30 square metres, the challenge was to maximise comfort and elegance within intimate proportions. Each space was envisioned as exclusive and distinctive, reflecting the personalities of the icons through curated artworks, motifs, and storytelling details.
