Interior Designer: Rocchina Scrocco Designs

The aim for Rocchina Scrocco Silver Lining was to bring comfort and style together, allowing their clients the space to gather for entertaining but also a space when one can truly relax by a cosy three-sided fireplace. Their client had a true sense of style and was not afraid to embrace colour and texture, this allowed the designer to bring in different elements in this design. The fireplace being the focal point of this room with the use of marble and walnut bringing together warm yet cool elements in this application.

When it came to furniture Rocchina used colour to anchor the space allowing the weight of the fabric to balance the weight of this stunning fireplace. The designer’s favourite aspect of the project was the vibrant use of colour in contrast to the simple walls, furthermore the fabric of the drapery that is from Milano and is hand dyed is so modest that it allows the fireplace and bright furniture to take center stage.

Rocchina Scrocco Silver Lining believe that the design works so well because it is a space that many can enjoy, easy to relax with the family, yet sophisticated enough to gather with friends for after dinner drinks. The designer aims to give spaces a multi-purpose so that the clients can get as much use out of their living areas as possible. When designing this space Rocchina wanted this room to be inviting and wanted it to be one of simplicity. To have everyone appreciate and the beauty of the textiles and the construction. This living space is so versatile that it could be transported to any home may it be North America or may it be Europe.
