Project Name: Della Moda

Location: Hong Kong

Date Completed: June 2017

Interior Designer: Frank Leung

This project takes its name from the Italian translation of fashion, the interiors give a certain homage to Italian luxury and particularly some Italian brands. Taking advantage of the inherent level changes, Della Moda is conceived as one fluid, free-flowing space. The designers intended the space to feel open for the clients, giving the entire property a more relaxed yet luxurious feel.

The apartment was designed to give a modern, Italian, and luxurious impression – these are the backbones to the DELLA MODA apartment. The use of dark wood and dark furnishing emphasise the elegance of the property and particularly contrast with the light walls and the lighting scheme used by via architecture ltd. However, the palette overall is predominantly bright and warm, with Venetian wall plaster used extensively, over grey / gold Italian marble floor, and slim timber grilles, highlighted by a selection of brand name Italian furniture.

The designers skilfully furnished the living areas with free-form rugs, artisanal pendant lights and a sculpturally shaped bar. All of these design elements truly come together in the space, reflecting a carefree, fashionable and modern lifestyle. Via architecture are a studio based in Hong Kong made up of architects, interior designers, lighting designers, landscape designers and graphic designers. The collaboration between all branches of the studio successfully forms a singular design unit which results in high end residential, commercial and cultural projects.
