Spread over half an acre of prime land at Hyderbad’s posh jubilee hills, this 28000sqft home for an affluent Indian business family showcases the latest technological and opulence that is achievable today. The Brief given was to develop a grand layout with key features present in India’s pricey mansions of yore. The bi-axial layout for the building, the primary axis from the main entrance to the stairwell and the perpendicular corridor axis running through the length of the building help to add to the grand feel that the property creates.

The house has four levels the basement, ground floor, first floor and second floor. The Basement has the main service areas of the building, including the parking for 8 luxury cars and staff quarters for 14 residence service staff. The basement also houses a home theatre, a grooming room and a large bar-lounge with state of the art entertainment features. The Ground floor level has a kitchen, two powder rooms, a living room with a seating capacity for 30 people and a grand dining room which seats 18 people. The ground floor level also has a home office.

The First floor level is the master residential level, which has a master bedroom suite complete with two his and her dressers and bathrooms. This floor also has a worship hall for various religious ceremonies which the clients family would partake in. The first floor level also has the family lounge for everyday activities and the daughters bedroom complete with two walk in dressers and a bathroom.

The second level is primarily designed for the clients son and his guests, which has the son’s bedroom, dress and bath and two guest rooms with attached bathrooms for family and friends and a lounge for entertainment.

The purpose of the property was to create a grandiose design with a free flowing layout which was achieved through the use of luxurious fixtures, fittings and features. The bespoke personalisation of each room is what sets the property apart because each room has been carefully thought out and designed in order to suit the clients needs.
