This project is located in Pudong, Lujiazui Shanghai Financial District, and is one of the most high-end Vanke projects, Vanke is currently the world’s largest real estate developer. Emerald River occupies the best location within Pudong, sitting near the edge of the riverbank. Emerald River is a real estate developed for the financial district’s top customer base, this was one of the influencing factors in designing the interiors. The architecture of this project was completed by the internationally renowned architect César Pelli.

In order to highlight the biggest advantage of this project — located on the Bank of the Huangpu River, Kris Lin International Design maximized the utilization of the stunning views of the river by using a large number of French windows. The position of the furniture within the living room was of great importance, as such the sofa is the best place to enjoy the river view, the design highlights the specific advantages of the property within the Riverview real estate.

Kris Lin International Design made major changes in the dining and kitchen areas, creating a symmetrical space with the breakfast and kitchen tables. The incredible master bedroom space, 7.5 metres by 5.3 metres, truly underlines the luxury of the apartment and reinforces the idea that this apartment is undoubtedly the first choice for luxury apartments in the financial district area, of Lujiazui.

In the main bathroom, the mirror lights were comprised of stainless steel and a light bar, the sink was polished in a way to diffuse the light source and create a luxury atmosphere. The deluxe bathtub also benefits from views over the river, giving the owner the feeling of ultimate luxury and a hotel like atmosphere. High-end materials were used for bathroom fittings such as Dornbracht, Laufen, Gaggenau, Grohe & Balom. Kris Lin International Design believe that the project works so well because they considered the two most important parts of the property: the first is the need of the host and the second is the benefit of location.
