West Of Main sprinkle high-end fashion elements into each room of this home while still providing the comfort, relaxation and that homey feeling we all try to achieve. Rich textures, brassy finishes, porcelain marble, and custom millwork come together to create a design that works seamlessly throughout the home. The design combines the existing contemporary architectural features with a modern intervention, resulting in a space that exudes luxury and comfort. Rich textures, metallic finishes and carefully selected unique pieces add an artistic and high fashion edge to every space inside the home.

West Of Main converted the existing master closet into a large walk-in, complete with a central island, personal vanity space, and window seating, by integrating the original space with a supplementary guest room. As you enter the closet, rich charcoal cabinetry is paired with a classic door profile, burnished brass hardware, and alpine white engineered maple flooring, to evoke a sense of masculinity. The space opens seamlessly into a classic white closet complete with thoughtful details in every direction, adding a sense of glamour and luxury.

The den was converted into an Old Hollywood-inspired home theatre. The deep rich tones of the seagrass wallpaper are paired with a dark oak panel to create an organic and cosy cave. The space is completed with a Cloud Sofa, ottomans and an oversized gilded globe light fixture, making one feel intimately nested.

The design of the living room showcases the high fashion sensibility that is found throughout the home with the use of luxurious Tibetan wool and brass chairs and a graphite mixed-media pop art styling. A floor-to-ceiling thin marble-inspired porcelain fireplace provides a contemporary edge to the fireplace, while a wool and viscose blend rug from India grounds the design.

The design of the man cave/basement was designed to host an entire hockey team. With a 12-person bar, multiple TVs, a wine cellar, a draft bar, heated flooring and a pure memory foam sofa, the space optimizes functionality and style in a variety of ways. The space is complete with dark oak cabinetry, a black glass wall, and metallic finishes, adding depth and sophistication to the space.

West Of Main designed the entire space to respect the existing architectural style of the home by integrating some of the contemporary design elements within each room of the home, ensuring that the design styles worked in harmony with one another. Sightlines were also an important consideration in the accomplishment of the design. Thoughtful details can be found in every direction, ensuring once again that the design works seamlessly throughout the home.

The design of the home ensures an optimal functionalist and flow between each space. The closet particularly attends to this, by ebbing and flowing to the asymmetrical shape of the home. Subtle elements of high fashion can be found in each room while respecting and embracing the individuality of their function.
