This modern house was built in a condo of country houses in  the state of São Paulo/Brazil and the Interior Design was carrried out by Rosa May Sampaio Arquitetura de Interiores. It has a built area of 1.150 square meters, plus 450 square meters of swimming pool and gardens.  The main vision for the property was to have a beautiful and comfortable house surrounded by nature, for the weekends.

The house was painted by Terracor using water based paints that also have desirable finishing effects such as aging patinas, weathered lime, and ancient “terracotta” textures.  In this case, the colour chosen by the architect was a red wine tone. There is also plenty of beautiful woodwork, and  the sustainability and lighting were also planned by the architect.

A deck was built around the swimming pool and hot tub, which also hides the pool equipment. The high-ceilinged living room, dining room and kitchen are separated from the TV room only by sliding glass doors and the terrace and barbecue lead off the living room.

The guest bedroom suites are very big, and open out directly to the garden. They were constructed in a “U” shape with an internal patio and a pond. The master bedroom is the only bedroom on the second floor, with a sitting room, bathroom and closet. Underneath, there is a spacious home theater that also serves as a room for playing games. There is also  a dark room for photography, which is a hobby of the owner.

A service area, which includes the carekeeper’s house, the garage and the dressing room are part of another area of the house,  that can be accessed from the swimming pool and garden.
