Custom designed and built by the owner, this French-inspired chateau presides over 300 acres and commands a spectacular view of a lush valley in Rogers, Arkansas. Here we look at the master bathroom in the custom designed chateau.

You will find an elegantly appointed master bath in this French chateau-inspired Arkansas home. The master bath is divided into two areas. Each area contains a custom vanity designed with specifications from the owner, dressing areas, and multiple seasonal walk-in closets. The intention of Goddard Design Group’s design was the creation of a peaceful reserve for the Fleemans to prepare for a busy day’s work and to rest and unwind at the evening. French antique furniture and accessories complement both areas. Most notably to the master bath are the pearl-beaded wallpaper and a custom rose quartz chandelier, both of which add a sense of sophistication and elegance.

For Chris Goddard, utilizing antiques in his design work is something he is very affectionate of, because it adds a sense of history and usually a good story. Chris’s favorite piece in the master bath is a bronze stool that he purchased at an auction. The stool does have a story because it was owned by the incomparable Bill Blass. The stool is draped bronze and serves as a wonderful side table by the jacuzzi tub.

Jeannie wanted to have two separate spaces in her master bath. Because of the area’s size, Goddard Design Group and Jeannie were able to create two comfortable dressing spaces with ample storage and an retreat for both.

Chris and Jeannie continue to update both the interior and exterior of the chateau. Their most current project is Jeannie’s vacation home located in the Cayman Islands.
