Project Name: Marylebone Apartment

Location: London, United Kingdom

Date Completed: August 2019

Interior Designer: JHR Interior Architecture & Design

JHR Interior Architecture & Design were instructed to carry out full “turn-key” furnishing and styling of this Marylebone development including a number of bespoke pieces of furniture design. Whilst adhering to the original brief, the clients gave the designers total control of the interiors. By using the light colour palette throughout and hints of navy blue in the living room and emerald green headboard in the master bedroom, this compact apartment now maximises the space with luxury and high-end finishes.

The client was keen to have a lot of seating for gathering with their family, so furniture layout was tricky as the space wasn’t big. JHR Interior Architecture & Design used the column as a kind of separation of the living and dining, the designers used a smaller depth sofa and more compact armchairs so they would look proportioned to the space without compromising the quality or comfort. The seating area is centralised around the media unit which required bespoke joinery designed by JHR Interior Architecture & Design. A classic and elegant colour scheme was selected for the living area, featuring and balancing navy hues and gold accents throughout.

JHR Interior Architecture & Design’s favourite aspect of designing this project was using the Art et Floritude lights on the bespoke feature wall panel in the dining room, which incorporated LED lighting. The design works so well because it maximises the space available with luxury and high-end finishes which bring the interiors of the apartment together cohesively.
