JHR Interior Architecture & Design were enlisted for the interior design of this London apartment. Following the success of their previous work, an existing client invited JHR Interior Architecture & Design to create the interiors for a sunning and generously proportioned 3-bedroom apartment in the Bayswater area of West London. The client required full turnkey furnishing and styling ready for their return in the summer, whilst adhering to the original brief, the clients gave the designers total control of the interiors.

It was a key part of the brief that the client had comfortable spaces where they could spend time with their family, so JHR Interior Architecture & Design endeavoured to maintain the openness of the communal rooms. The designers used bespoke cushions to lift up the design of the whole room. For example, in the master bedroom, there is embroidery on the bespoke cushions and bespoke made tassels. JHR Interior Architecture & Design used Samuel & Sons for the delicate curtain trims.

One of the challenging aspects of completing this project for JHR Interior Architecture & Design was that there were only 2 weeks to complete the design before the clients returned, therefore much of the furniture was chosen off the shelves. However the designers were able to incorporate some special bespoke items into the interiors with the help of some of their long standing suppliers with whom they have developed excellent relationships over the years and were able to work on a quick time scale to help to finish the property. The designers were extremely happy to complete the project on time and on budget.
