Project Name: WEAVE

Designer: KAZA Concrete

For the WEAVE wallcovering tile, KAZA Concrete sought inspiration from the undulating rhythmic imagery created by sand dunes and traditional weaving techniques to create the graceful contour in the tiles. This tile series consists of three individual styles in two different sizes: ‘Maldives’, ‘Kalahari’ and a flat piece. It is a simple structure and repetitive in form. The surface is made from the smoothest, specially formulated concrete, which some best describe as liquid stone. Specialist artisans were used to manufacture each concrete tile. The designers officially launched their WEAVE wallcovering tile this year at The Clerkenwell Design Week. This design is a contemporary classic design well suited for any environment.
