Project Name: La Sivoliere

Location: Courchevel 1850, France

Date Completed: January 2020

Interior Designer: Sara Browett

Aiming to enhance visitor’s well-being during their stay, La Sivolière hired British Interior designer Sara Browett from Sara Copeland Interiors Ltd.  The objective was not to diverge from the house’s existing style but to evolve it, making it even cosier, creating a feeling of hygge.

Sara Copeland Interiors were greatly inspired by the mountain’s spirit and the prestigious location, whilst not forgetting her British roots. She has now completely renovated all 35 rooms, including 2 flats and 6 deluxe suites.

Sara has brought a mix of British luxury and fresh contemporary style, introducing shimmering and colourful velvets, wood, and stone. The bathrooms have been completely reimagined and each new suite has a steam shower. The designers took great inspiration from the mountains and fabulous scenery around and the project feels at one with its environment.

Sara Copeland Interiors’ favourite aspect of the project was seeing it evolve and seeing the clients enjoying the newly created atmosphere. The designers believe that the project was so successful because the interiors are practical but cosy with a sense of style.

La Sivoliere had been a two-year project, and Sara Copeland Interiors thoroughly enjoyed the whole process from start to finish and they designers feel that they have left a little part of themselves in The Alps for other people to enjoy.
