A beautiful and dramatic spa-like retreat was the desire for this client who is an ENT surgeon, desiring a place to relax and unwind after a long day in surgery. The project was entirely customised to the client’s needs and in doing so perfectly embodies the ultimate place for luxurious relaxation. 

With a beverage bar area upon entry, a separate vanity area, a steam shower, and an infinity edge spa tub, this bathroom embodies luxurious relaxation. A gold glass mosaic column houses exterior control for the steam shower, which includes options for body sprays and control of the double shower heads. The beautiful bathtub by Kohler features chromatic therapy and heated walls to make the bathing experience blissful. Porcelain floors offer both sophistication and ease of maintenance, and cabinets of lux laminate provide extensive storage areas. A custom-designed vanity area with waterfall edge quartzite countertops showcases the client’s extensive perfume collection while also offering a glamorous tri-mirror set-up to play up the abundance of lighting by Schonbeck with original Swarovski crystal that add sparkle and ambiance to this luxurious retreat. 

There are 5 exceptional features of this space: A steam shower with gold glass tile, an infinity edge tub with Chroma-therapy, an exquisite Swarovski crystal lighting, a custom designed vanity that displays her perfume collection and a quartzite slab lined shower wall. The lighting is what truly makes this space, with the stunning Swarovski crystal adds sparkle and elegance. 

The design works so well as it is completely customised to how this busy client lives. After work, the client can get a drink from the beverage bar and head to the infinity edge spa tub. In the morning as she gets ready, she can wake up to a steam shower and prepare for the day at her personalised vanity that houses her extensive perfume collection. The bathroom design also integrates seamlessly into the whole house design. It is colourful, luxurious, and welcoming.
