Scarsdale NY Kitchen Renovation was a complete gut renovation and addition of a residential kitchen, created to become the heart of this family’s home. 

Tobi Schmidt Designs’ clients went from having a small kitchen space, to a large kitchen with a double island and dining nook. The team knew that they wanted the kitchen to be sophisticated and the nook to be fun and have its own vibe from the main space, and the clients were willing to be bold and really go there. The trust they put in Tobi Schmidt was a designer’s dream. The main kitchen was designed with functionality as well as bringing a clean and modern vibe to the home. Every detail was carefully crafted to create the look of this space.  

The breakfast nook wallpaper was not an afterthought – it was the inspiration for the space, the jumping off point. You can see everything else around it like the custom designed ombre table and wishbone chairs effortlessly fall into place. This room has become the heart of the home and one the family and guests want to sit and spend time in. In this home the choice of a bold paper became a showstopper and seamlessly complements the main space.
