The design scheme by Jacklynn Little Interiors, represents a kitchen and home renovation with timeless style, modern functionality and luxury living.

This client’s home required an entire renovation however, they asked Jacklynn to give them their dream kitchen which would be tripled in size. With their busy life and family of four they wanted a space that allowed for the perfect combination of beautiful design and calm, timeless style. When the client was questioned about their preference for this design, they specified an updated modern farmhouse style with a modern twist.

As a designer and huge cook, Jacklynn Little had a serious case of kitchen envy. This was a consequence of three specific aspects of this fantastic project. Firstly, the layout is perfectly designed with ample room at the kitchen island for all four family members and a pantry on the left of the kitchen for lots of storage. Secondly, the contrast between the white cabinets and the kitchen island in this soft black colour gives it an layered look. And finally, the luxury items in the kitchen in the form of appliances, kitchen tap and cabinetry. The overall result was certainly worth the time and money.

The balance in this kitchen is what works so well, the placement of the appliances and size of the kitchen are perfect for the room and house size. Additionally, the design of the cabinet, colours and overall is timeless in its style.
