ZED Studio Inc’s skillful balance of architectural expression, materials, and functionality is crucial in crafting a stunning and cohesive home that authentically captures the clients’ unique tastes and preferences. From the street, the home appears unassuming, but upon closer inspection, it gradually reveals itself as a masterpiece, showcasing the thoughtful design and attention to detail. Despite its impressive size, the home is energy-efficient and designed to accommodate future solar power installations, demonstrating the designer’s commitment to building to a higher standard.

Effective relational design is critical to the success of this project, with each room taking inspiration from a functional art piece such as custom mosaic tiles, bespoke slabs of stone, and unique lighting installations. These design choices speak to the client’s appreciation for the arts. One standout element is the large room dividing peninsula fireplace, seamlessly integrated into the sundial shard design, which plays as a feature throughout the home.
