Elliot James Interiors has recently completed an awe-inspiring interior design project that has breathed new life into a tired 4-bedroom suburban property. The goal was to transform it into a remarkable 6-bedroom home with a British Asian fusion style, offering a perfect blend of elegance and functionality.

The initial challenge presented to Elliot James Interiors was to revitalize a home that lacked character and a natural flow. The team took on the task with great enthusiasm, and the results speak for themselves. By implementing a full turnkey renovation and reconfiguration, they successfully created a second family home that truly dazzles and captures attention.

At the heart of the project was the desire to achieve a light and bright open-plan ambiance that embraced the 18-meter wide rear of the house. The clients wanted a space that would effortlessly connect with the stunning expansive garden. With their expertise in landscaping, Elliot James Interiors also took on the challenge of redesigning the outdoor area to complement the interior transformation.

One of the standout features of this project is the impressive 6.5-meter extension added to the back of the property. This extension allowed for a complete reconfiguration of the internal layout, resulting in a spacious and airy atmosphere. To ensure an abundance of natural light, the team incorporated three flat roof skylights that bathe the extended ground floor in sunshine. Additionally, an entire wall of glass sliding panels connects the house seamlessly with the picturesque garden, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living.

The relocation of the kitchen from the front to the back of the house was a pivotal move in this design. Elliot James Interiors crafted a breathtaking bespoke kitchen featuring a magnificent 5-meter island made from walnut and navy blue cabinets, topped with a stunning Caesarstone worktop. This sociable space was thoughtfully designed, offering bespoke walnut bar stools for casual seating, a Lofra freestanding cooker, and two in-built ovens for extensive catering. Adjacent to the kitchen, a large 10-seater dining table provides ample room for hosting grand-scale events.

By combining British Asian fusion styling with their innate talent for spatial planning and attention to detail, they have turned a lackluster property into a show-stopping home. The project stands as a testament to their ability to bring their clients’ visions to life, delivering spaces that are both aesthetically stunning and practical for everyday living.
