Assure Interiors was commissioned to craft inviting, stylish, and functional indoor and outdoor spaces tailored to the needs of a large international family comprising four children and two sizable canines. Tasked with curating interiors suitable for multi-generational entertaining and outdoor areas conducive to an active social lifestyle, while also accommodating the family’s children, the project posed a multifaceted challenge.

Incorporating a selection of existing furniture pieces from the family’s previous residence and international art sourced from storage, Assure Interiors artfully repurposed these elements within the new setting. Additionally, new lighting fixtures were installed to infuse warmth into the living spaces, complementing a blend of contemporary furniture to imbue the home with a fresh ambiance.

Overseeing the entirety of the home’s decoration, Assure Interiors meticulously designed spaces to fulfill various functions, such as the library, which was transformed into a flexible area doubling as a family room. A carefully chosen decorative light fixture lends a cozy atmosphere, maintaining an intimate yet sophisticated ambiance within the generously proportioned space.

Drawing inspiration from the 1970s, a juxtaposition of swivel chairs, leather-wrapped bentwood chairs, and a contemporary sofa in soft gray velvet creates a visually stimulating arrangement. Latin American artworks and a vintage lamp add character, balancing the architectural formality with eclectic charm.

By integrating pieces such as a cowhide rug from Argentina and antique Indian wood panels adorned with mother of pearl inlay, Assure Interiors curated a space that reflects the clients’ penchant for travel. The resulting interiors and outdoor areas epitomize Miami’s quintessential lifestyle, characterized by a blend of cool understated elegance and thoughtful design, perfectly suited to tropical living.
