Oberson Architects, an interdisciplinary firm, recently unveiled their latest triumph in the heart of Herzliya’s bustling Hi-tech district: the stunning office design for Gindi, a prominent international real estate entity. Tasked with encapsulating the esteemed legacy of the Gindi real estate dynasty’s first generation while infusing the innovative spirit of its successors, Oberson Architects embarked on a journey to craft an environment where tradition seamlessly melds with modernity.

At the core of their design ethos lies a commitment to timeless elegance, meticulously manifested through a carefully curated material palette. Dark charcoal oak envelops the walls and floors, setting a sophisticated backdrop against which elements of nostalgia and contemporary flair intertwine. Grigio marble, adorned with wooden veins, graces the stairs and bathrooms, while orange and peach-hued wall panels infuse warmth and vitality into the space.

Elevating the ambiance with a touch of opulence, brass and stainless-steel accents punctuate the design, from handles to lighting fixtures and the majestic brass handrail that guides visitors through the premises. As one steps through the wide pivot entrance door, a sense of grandeur unfolds within the reception foyer, offering a picturesque vista of the Mediterranean Sea. Black-stained wooden panels and brass wall-mounted lights exude understated sophistication, while the lounge beckons with its eclectic furnishings and a reception desk marrying Grigio marble and stainless steel in harmonious union.

Transitioning seamlessly from public to private realms, the conference room emanates intimacy and functionality, with cleverly concealed cabinetry and lightweight stainless-steel library with wooden boards. Vertical wooden slats interplay with marble accents, casting intricate patterns of light and shadow that dance across the space, further accentuated by the interplay of natural and artificial illumination.

A focal point of the design narrative, the central staircase ascends to a rooftop terrace, where leisure and contemplation intertwine amidst layered eclectic furniture and panoramic views of the sea. Through their meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to crafting spaces that transcend time, Oberson Architects has achieved a forward-looking office space that pays homage to the past generation of the company through the use of a natural and minimal material palette, meticulous cabinetry, and thoughtful lighting design, enhanced by curated local artwork displays.
