The primary focus of this renovation endeavour was to seamlessly blend modernisation with the preservation of the original Victorian aesthetic. The ground floor retains its quintessential Victorian charm, providing a nod to the historical roots of the property.

The basement underwent significant structural works, including the installation of a new floor to address persistent damp issues. Alchemy Build’s meticulous approach ensured not only the eradication of structural concerns but also a thoughtful integration of modern amenities.

Concealed air conditioning units within new joinery units exemplify the fusion of contemporary comfort with classic aesthetics, a hallmark of Alchemy Build’s approach. The restoration of the original timber sash windows stands as a testament to their commitment to preserving the property’s historical character.

One of the standout features of this renovation is the exquisite guest bathroom, adorned with a mosaic marble floor, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication to the living space.

For the finishing touches, Buster + Punch provided beautiful ironmongery, adding a bespoke and elegant flair to this Victorian gem in Little Venice.
