Atelier Branco & Fairley has masterfully executed an interior design project that transcends the conventional contemporary aesthetic, crafting a home that seamlessly blends modern architecture with luxurious, elegant interiors. The design not only mirrors the clients’ personalities and lifestyle but also incorporates elements from their extensive travels and their second home in Palma de Mallorca. The homeowners desired to infuse their residence with the boutique hotel qualities they admire, characterized by bright, light-filled interiors akin to their Mediterranean retreat.

The highlight of this project is the Principal Bedroom Suite, designed to serve as an elegant, luxurious sanctuary where the clients can relax and unwind after a busy day. Atelier Branco & Fairley chose a refined colour palette of clay white and champagne, accented with soft seafoam green, to create a tranquil and sophisticated atmosphere. This delicate palette is paired with brushed brass, crystal, leather, and high gloss veneers to elevate the sense of luxury.

The bedroom features gently curved, leather-clad wall panels that form a stunning backdrop, enhanced with mirrored inlay panels and brushed brass detailing. Cantilevered side tables, crafted from the finest high gloss veneers, add to the room’s elegance. The centrepiece of the suite is a custom-designed art installation above the bed, inspired by marine life such as shells, sea urchins, and jellyfish. This unique piece, made from handblown glass and porcelain, adds a touch of mystical charm to the space.

Atelier Branco & Fairley’s design draws inspiration from the property’s location, bringing elements of the external environment into the bedroom suite. The calming colour palette and luxurious materials create a sophisticated haven that perfectly encapsulates the essence of a high-end boutique hotel. The result is a relaxing, refined space that offers a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, reflecting the clients’ love for both contemporary luxury and the natural beauty of their surroundings.
