That Is ITH Interior proudly presents The Noble Lounge, a private lounge designed for residents to entertain guests at the Royal Residences, an ultra-luxury residence inspired by colonial opulence. The Noble Lounge embodies the nostalgic charm of a nobleman’s private study from Thailand’s Renaissance era during King Rama V’s reign, a time of prosperity and flourishing international trade.

Our design transports residents back to their childhood, reminiscent of visiting their grandparents’ home. Olive green walls and ceilings evoke colonial homes, while details like flower vases, an intricately carved Burmese table on a black-and-white marble floor inspired by European travels, and a magnifying glass for morning newspapers enhance the nostalgic decor.

The lounge seamlessly blends styles and cultures: a European fireplace, French crystal chandeliers, delicately carved Thai wooden chairs, Persian rugs, Indian silk pillows, and cast metal bird wall lamps from China. These pieces, collected during grandpa’s travels, form his personal collection.

The butler’s table, bar, and pantry, which once served grandpa and guests, now welcome residents as a reception counter. The original seating set, including a meeting table for small gatherings, has been preserved. The old spiral staircase leading to the rooftop glasshouse remains, now an office space. The restrooms are divided into male and female sections, with the ladies’ room in grandma’s favorite rose red and the men’s room in bonsai green, reflecting grandpa’s love for pruning.

The Noble Lounge is more than a luxurious reception and relaxation area; it connects family members, evoking warmth and familiarity. It revives cherished memories and creates lasting ones for future generations, reflecting valuable feelings and emotions through beautiful design.
