Rive Gauche London has brought a refined vision of contemporary luxury to life with the interior design of Four Seasons Private Residences Bahrain Bay. Comprising 112 private residences connected to the renowned Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, the development offers residents seamless access to five-star amenities via a pedestrian and golf cart bridge, uniting privacy with hospitality in the heart of Manama’s waterfront district.

Tasked with creating an interior concept rooted in Bahrain’s architectural heritage, Rive Gauche London approached the project with a commitment to cultural authenticity and refined elegance. The design weaves together local traditions and modern sensibilities, establishing a distinct visual identity grounded in the island’s rich history and natural surroundings.

Throughout the residences, Rive Gauche London introduced materials, patterns, and textures that evoke Bahrain’s landscape and maritime legacy. A palette of warm ochre and sand tones is offset by soft blues, mirroring the interplay of desert and sea. Traditional Bahraini design elements such as intricate latticework and the geometric language of historic doors were reinterpreted in a contemporary context, giving the interiors a timeless yet current feel.

Mother-of-pearl inlays appear throughout, a nod to Bahrain’s celebrated pearling history, while vivid marbles in blues, greens, and reds draw inspiration from local spice markets and the surrounding sea. Verde Guatemala stone features prominently, adding rich contrast to the neutral base tones reminiscent of desert sands and overcast skies.

Nature is central to the experience. Surrounded by water, the residences offer arrival by boat and entry through landscaped gardens. Expansive double-height windows maximise natural light and blur the boundary between inside and out, enhancing the sense of wellbeing. Rive Gauche London has crafted interiors that are not only luxurious but deeply connected to the spirit and beauty of Bahrain.
