Domaine Interiors has masterfully crafted The Hygge House in Big Sky, Montana, a retreat that embodies warmth, comfort, and tranquility. Designed to merge seamlessly with its stunning natural surroundings, this home embraces the Scandinavian concept of hygge—creating an atmosphere of coziness and well-being from the moment one steps inside.

Domaine Interiors carefully curated a palette of organic textures, soft neutral tones, and natural materials to establish a peaceful and inviting environment. Rich wood accents and stone finishes complement the home’s abundant natural light, which pours in through expansive windows that frame breathtaking views of the Spanish Peak mountain range and surrounding treescapes. Every detail of the design fosters a connection to nature, ensuring a balance between refined interiors and the rugged beauty of Big Sky.

One of the home’s most striking design features is the innovative glass floor integration above the wine cellar. Domaine Interiors introduced a sky bridge on the main floor, allowing residents and guests to walk over a transparent surface that provides a view into the wine cellar below. This architectural element enhances the home’s sense of openness, allowing light to filter through while visually connecting the spaces.

The wine cellar itself is a showcase of craftsmanship, featuring custom-designed white oak racks and integrated LED lighting within a climate-controlled environment. This carefully considered space reflects Domaine Interiors’ commitment to both function and aesthetics, enhancing the home’s luxurious yet understated ambiance.

By blending contemporary design with timeless comfort, Domaine Interiors has created a home that not only provides a sanctuary for relaxation but also harmonizes effortlessly with the grandeur of its natural surroundings. The Hygge House stands as a testament to thoughtful, intentional design.
