El Sueno Beach House, designed by Miro Architects, is a coastal residence on Egypt’s North Coast that blends Mediterranean charm with modern sophistication. Conceived as a serene family retreat, the project redefines contemporary coastal living through simplicity, warmth, and craftsmanship.

Miro Architects focused on creating harmony between architecture and interior design, ensuring a seamless connection between the home’s exterior and interior. The façade combines soft-toned stone, white plaster, and black steel-framed glass, establishing a rhythm of solidity and lightness that continues throughout the interior.

Drawing on a modern Mediterranean sensibility, the interiors blend Scandinavian clarity, mid-century influences, and artisanal details. A neutral, sun-washed palette of light woods, stone surfaces, and soft fabrics is complemented by muted green and deep burgundy accents. Honest materials and craftsmanship define the furniture, with woven textures, solid timber, and bespoke cabinetry adding tactile richness.

Miro Architects designed each element to evoke calm and connection. Floor-to-ceiling sheers diffuse natural light, and arched niches reinterpret traditional Mediterranean motifs in a contemporary way. The dining area, anchored by a long wooden table, forms the social heart of the home.

Originally a renovation, the project required careful integration of new structures while respecting the original building’s integrity. Collaboration with local craftsmen ensured a seamless blend of old and new materials. The result is a home that feels both newly created and deeply rooted, reflecting Miro Architects’ belief that true luxury lies in simplicity, authenticity, and timeless design.
