Lola Tucker Interiors designed this serene Quogue retreat as an elegant summer residence for a California-based family. Blending East Coast charm with West Coast ease, the home captures the essence of refined, relaxed living. The interiors are defined by a soft coastal palette of driftwood greys, sandy beiges, and whispery blues, echoing the surrounding landscape while maintaining a sense of understated luxury. Natural textures add warmth and depth, while expansive windows and airy layouts enhance the connection to the outdoors.

Every element was chosen to create a sense of calm and effortless sophistication. Lola Tucker Interiors drew inspiration from Quogue’s quiet beauty, designing spaces that feel open, restorative, and deeply connected to their setting. Soft transitions and light that shifts throughout the day contribute to a soothing rhythm that mirrors the nearby dunes and sea.

Materials play a key storytelling role, with finishes that reflect the natural environment—sun-washed woods, chalky whites, and linens that evoke a gentle breeze. The result is a home that feels harmonious and timeless.

Designed around the rhythms of family life, the house offers open living areas that encourage connection alongside peaceful nooks for retreat. Seamless indoor-outdoor flow supports relaxed summer living. Durable finishes and intuitive layouts ensure the space functions beautifully as well as aesthetically.

Collaborating with skilled cabinetmakers, stone artisans, and painters, Lola Tucker Interiors brought this project to life with exceptional craftsmanship, creating a home that feels both elegant and emotionally grounding.
