Indie Interiors has completed a refined bathroom transformation within a family home, delivering a serene and highly functional retreat tailored to the demands of modern living. The project forms part of a wider renovation, where Indie Interiors reimagined a recently acquired property to balance durability, luxury and comfort for a household with three young children.

The bathroom was conceived as a calm and welcoming space, designed to simplify daily routines while accommodating simultaneous use. Indie Interiors placed significant emphasis on spatial planning, carefully zoning the layout to ensure efficiency without compromising on atmosphere. What was once a large and echoing room has been reshaped into a cocooning environment, defined by layered lighting and a carefully considered material palette.

Attention to craftsmanship played a central role in the scheme. Indie Interiors collaborated with specialist makers, incorporating brassware by Samuel Heath alongside bespoke cabinetry produced in rural Yorkshire. The suspended vanity, with its curved sides and solid brass base, acts as a focal point, while full wall cladding and a precisely executed shower enclosure demonstrate a high level of technical expertise.

Ceiling detailing proved particularly intricate, with cornices hand run in situ to achieve a seamless oval form. This level of precision required close coordination between trades, with each stage carefully sequenced to ensure a cohesive result. The project reflects a collaborative effort, with skilled artisans contributing to every aspect of the design.

Throughout the space, Indie Interiors has layered subtle textures, tonal variation and soft lighting to create depth and warmth. The result is a bathroom that feels effortlessly calm and understated, yet richly detailed, offering a practical and elegant sanctuary within a busy family home.
