Villa Alma by ELE Interior demonstrates the studio’s ability to transform an existing renovation into a home that feels deeply personal, refined, and timeless. The project centred on a Dubai Hills villa that had recently undergone a full renovation, yet still lacked warmth, cohesion, and the sense of home the client had envisioned. Rather than recommending another costly and wasteful renovation, ELE Interior proposed a more thoughtful approach, enhancing the existing framework through carefully considered design interventions.

Working closely with the villa’s architecture, the studio focused on elevating the space through layering, materiality, and bespoke detailing. Existing features, including the double-height entrance and staircase, were enhanced with premium finishes, custom joinery, and carefully selected furnishings to create a more sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. The result is a home that feels cohesive, luxurious, and highly liveable whilst remaining true to the client’s original intentions.

A defining feature of the project is the custom-made chandelier installed within the double-height entrance. Measuring five metres in length with a trimless finish, it creates a dramatic focal point that anchors the home and highlights the studio’s attention to detail.

Throughout the villa, ELE Interior balanced aesthetic refinement with practicality and cost-effectiveness, collaborating with existing contractors to ensure seamless integration with the original renovation. Minotti furniture, Lustre Lighting, Grani Marmo Classico marble, and custom Handscarpet rugs were selected to add depth, texture, and timeless elegance, resulting in a home designed to feel as relevant in ten years as it does today.
