Project Name: Bel Air Residence

Location: Bel Air, California

Date Completed: 2018

Interior Designer: Lonni Paul

Developer: Ted Foxman

Construction Company: Iconic Residences

This contemporary gated estate features an 18,000 square foot home that sits on nearly 4 flat acres of mountain top with 300 degree views overlooking the Santa Monica Mountains and Pacific Ocean.  The home boasts 8 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms and features a theatre, gym, sports bar with billiards room, temperature controlled wine room, 600 square foot kitchen and music & game room.

The central foyer is covered by a glass dome nearly 25 feet wide that fills the home with natural light. The estate is elegantly appointed with a 125 foot pool and poolside cabana with retractable roof, a tennis court, basketball court, batting cage, helicopter pad, fully equipped outdoor kitchen with bar and 2 fire pits with seating for 40.

The home was unfinished & abandoned when it was purchased by Iconic Residences Founder, Ted Foxman, and lacked any cohesive design integrity. Ted completely reworked the home’s exterior and gutted the interior to design a timeless home with Lonni Paul Design that would seamlessly integrate with the beautiful gardens and outdoor entertaining area, making it the ultimate in West Coast living.

Ted’s vision for the home included the addition of nearly 600 square ft. to the master bedroom to provide epic ocean and canyon views. This also created the perfect gathering space in the area below for a new family room adjoined to the kitchen, featuring a wall of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass that opened the entire rear face of the home for the ultimate in indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Arriving guests are welcomed by a view from the front door through the entire home across the vast backyard to the Pacific Ocean through the new sliding wall of glass.

The crisp black and white exterior palette combined with custom interiors in warm blue and grey tones designed by Lonni Paul Design have created the ultimate California estate.
