This project involved the conversion of Listed Beacon Hill Barn. From it’s almost derelict state, London Design Group were tasked with restoring this property to a more modern barn with on trend furnishings whilst still maintaining the heritage of the property.

The barn has several key aspects which all cohere to create a tranquil and radiant luxurious high-end property. For instance, the “cathedral height” ceilings expose the beautifully preserved beams from the original barn. Where the floor to ceiling window provides a wonderful sense of light which also captures the astonishing picturesque view. All the features within the architecture, soft furnishings and accessories work well together due to their luxurious materials and finishes which have been carefully chosen after closely taking note of the high-end specification.

The barn is used privately by the owners but is also available to hire out for high end holiday retreats. The layout has been cleverly designed with a relaxing atmosphere to create comfort with the family.

London Design Group were able to ensure that the barn was in harmony with its rural surroundings, using sustainable and reclaimed products. Sympathetic to original barn environment and constriction. This has resulted in an elegant and sophisticated finished property that still reserves the traditions of a Listed barn.
