This spectacular 5,116 sq. ft. home sits along Dutch Harbor in Jamestown, Rhode Island. With what was once a small, dark and very cramped home, the homeowners envisioned more open space with an outdoor living area as functional as the indoor living area. Davitt Design Build’s Jamestown Retreat is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for these homeowners with an expanding family.

Complete with an infinity pool and spa, this redesigned home boasts 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms with spectacular views of Narragansett Bay, ideal for visits from friends, children, and grandchildren. Additional details include a beautiful new staircase with a seashell fossil wood inlay at the base landing and a tile inlay at the middle landing.

The original cramped and outdated kitchen was modernised into a spacious kitchen with functional island. Davitt Design Build’s open floorplan combines the newly renovated kitchen and dining area with the living area while capturing the views of the Atlantic Ocean, an inviting space for both intimate family meals and dinner parties with guests.

A newly created home office and study showcases a stylish round window allowing abundant light into the space. A small and inefficient master bathroom was transformed into an expansive, bright bathroom with dual shower heads and vanities for optimal functionality. The new master bedroom has been transformed into a tranquil retreat with large windows and deck access. The outdoor area is complete with a kitchen and ample seating areas in the retractable screened in porch and outdoor patio, perfect for entertaining or relaxing.
