Interior Designer: Lawson Robb

Overlooking a quiet leafy park, nature and its delicate colours were a pivotal feature in the design of this period property. With a light and airy brief in mind, textured neutral tones and accents of sage green were used in the interior to bring the outside in whilst emanating an understated chic ambience. Unique handcrafted details in every room contribute to a truly sophisticated and timeless property.

From an overall design perspective, the client requested an elegant and sophisticated design. Lawson Robb were given ‘carte blanche’ to inspire her as long as the final result would have reached the level of elegance she was aiming for. Instead the client requested a few specific things to be incorporated into the design. For the master bedroom, the client wanted a comfortable pivotal armchair where to read a book enjoying the park view whilst having a cup of coffee in order to make this room also liveable and enjoyable during the day, a bespoke piece of joinery to be used as an hotel mini bar with a remote controlled pop up coffee machine and mini fridge.

The client requested the integration of a spa element to the master en-Suite replacing the bath with a steam shower, in addition to the already existing shower. Furthermore, a secret room was requested, accessible via a concealed door with the look of a library room during the day, transformable into a bedroom during night.

Lawson Robb enjoyed working with the client from day one as they felt trusted to make the right choices and this allowed them to specify stunning design pieces whilst building stronger relationships with their trusted suppliers. Distinctive in style, this property is an iconic uncompromising definition of elegance and refinement. Tailored details are revealed in exquisite textures and punches of a teal and sage greens with the subtle neutral tonalities that define serenity and quiet sophistication.
