Mountain Chalet is a ski chalet by Idea International, located in the beautiful Smilovci, Bulgaria. For this very exciting project studio IDEA International envisioned an impeccably detailed interior scheme. The layout has been carefully curated in order to incorporate all client requirements including an outdoor dining area, bespoke fireplaces and a unique SPA hidden in the underground floor of the mountain chalet.  

IDEA International was commissioned to enhance the standard vision of the client for a mountain house by incorporating a timeless aesthetic which flows throughout the property. The home also features a unique bespoke SPA experience which is hidden into the details of the chalet. The team had to ensure that each design element fulfilled the client’s requirements and met the brief. Key to the design were the three layers of dining and sitting areas in the common lounge at the ground floor of the property. Also, the bespoke leather fireplace lounge at the SPA and the bespoke semiprecious stone wall and chaise lounge sitting area in the SPA were vital in creating the chalet’s aesthetic. 

A calming sensation flows throughout the chalet with semiprecious teal stones and comforting natural tones. These beautifully compliment themselves creating a sensory balance in the property.
