Yardleys is a truly unique and beautifully crafted family residence that was built to an extremely high specification. This imposing and elegant home follows classic Arts and Crafts design incorporating the most up-to-date construction materials and technology. Patsy Blunt Interiors worked with a developer whose brief was to create a timeless yet characterful interior that would then appeal to perspective buyers. The designers carried out full space planning, interior architecture and “turn-key” furnishing and styling including several pieces of bespoke furniture design.

The property was designed for modern living, providing an elegant and spacious layout – 6 en suite bedrooms over three floors, “entertaining” kitchen, second “cooking” kitchen to ground floor, kitchenette/laundry to 2nd floor, cinema room and self-contained annex with further bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. The property extends to 9,500 sq. ft. The property features a beautiful Master Bathroom that combines luxe and calm design elements. To appeal to family living, a beautiful twin room was designed using a neutral colour palette, the room features bed canopies and a practical window seating area.

The designer’s favourite aspect of this project was the contemporary and spacious kitchen. The principal kitchen is ‘Metro’ black Walnut with steel inlay and veneered doors by Clive Christian and included Sub-zero and Wolf appliances with natural quartz stone composite worktops. Mellow tones were used in the formal Living and Dining room to create a calming atmosphere. The relaxing scheme showcases a soothing neutral pallet accent with soft textures and highlights of yellow. A soft colour palette throughout gives it a welcoming and bespoke feel. The variety of textures, materials and colours creates an overall palette of tactile quality with interest on every surface, whilst bringing in contemporary elements through lighting and furniture.

Patsy Blunt Interiors loved working on this contemporary and beautifully inviting property on the well-known Camp Road in Gerrard’s Cross, this project allowed them to create a luxurious and comfortable family home.
