Eastern Shore Grandeur encompasses 44,000 square feet of luxury spread across ten structures, this is the epitome of grandeur in the form of a private sanctuary. Upon arrival, Eastern Shore Grandeur’s remaining structures are made apparent: the main house, guest house, timber-frame entertaining barn, carriage house, automobile barn, pool house, boat house, pottery studio, and conservatory.

To ensure cohesion and consistency, the design of most of the buildings happened concurrently. Only the boathouse, pottery studio, and Hartley Botanic conservatory came later. Exquisite exterior architectural detailing and materials were intentionally incorporated throughout the estate, including eyebrow dormers, sunlit cupolas, handmade Cushwa oversized brick, custom shutters, and white cedar shake and tin-coated copper roofs which collectively create a truly magical haven. Early in the design process, Purple Cherry Architects engaged a landscape architect to develop a master site plan that detailed beautiful landscaping and hardscaping details for each structure, space, and garden.

The main home sits approximately 300 feet from the water. This design allows for an upper terrace from the house to the walkway and a lower terrace from the walkway to the pool. As a result, homeowners can enjoy sweeping waterfront views without obstruction from the pool.Further, more than 120 plant containers have been hand-selected and placed throughout the property to provide seasonal colour and texture throughout the year.
