ZED Studio Inc. have created a luxurious and personalised residence that reflects the clients’ refined tastes and extensive world travels, featuring functional art pieces, high sloped ceilings, and a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Drawing inspiration from the clients’ sophisticated lifestyle, ZED Studio Inc. has crafted a unique and bespoke home that caters to their every need. The design theory centered on removing hallways and using transitory spaces to flow with the clients’ requests for a home fit for entertaining that also had formal spaces. The high sloped ceilings and expansive windows bring in abundant natural light, adding to the home’s luxurious feel.

One of the most outstanding features of this home is its connection with nature. Almost every room opens onto the pool and generous outdoor living spaces, providing an atmosphere of serenity and luxury. The home feels modest from the street, with a sense of humble beginnings, but it expands to reveal the inner workings of a masterpiece. The property has been built to higher standards, ensuring that it is energy-efficient and prepped for future solar power installations.

The attention to detail in this home is second to none. The designers have added functional art pieces in every room, such as bespoke lighting installations, custom mosaic tiles, and handcrafted slabs of stone, all reflecting the clients’ appreciation for the arts. The Bocci light functional art installation is a masterpiece, skilfully designed to play with the sloping ceiling, creating a natural border in the room. The driveway is a work of art, with extensive concrete workmanship required for texturing and stamping. The clients’ insignia is proudly displayed in the driveway, adding to the property’s exclusivity. At the pool, a concrete diving rock was sculpted and serves as a functional art piece, with water flowing out of stones adding to the serene feeling of the outdoor living space.

The home boasts a standout feature, the large peninsula fireplace integrated into the sundial shard design, which greets guests with warmth and elegance upon arrival. The designers’ focus on how light permeates throughout the home creates an artistic and inviting atmosphere, contributing to the overall luxurious ambiance.
