Quirc Interior Design has unveiled a stunning contemporary home that masterfully blends cutting-edge design with luxurious living. This modern architectural build, located in a prime area, pays homage to geometry, flow, and detail, showcasing the pinnacle of open-concept living.

Designed by Catherine Quirc, the property exemplifies intricate and complex design while maintaining complete functionality and liveability. The home, a renovation and modernisation project, stands as a luxury family residence that retains its French architectural flair but has been reimagined with advanced joinery and design processes.

A combination of luxurious bronze metals, polished marbles, and contrasting textures creates depth and balance, weaving a compelling narrative throughout the home. The pure and minimal natural palette allows the cooler natural materials and textures to speak for themselves, adding a timeless feel to the space.

Upon entering, visitors are immediately captivated by the open floor plan. The entryway flows effortlessly into the spacious living area, where a 30-foot-high ceiling and an impressive skylight create an airy, luminous atmosphere. Sunlight pours in, casting fluid patterns on the chocolate polished marble floors. The absence of interior walls allows for an uninterrupted vista from the front door through to the rear of the house.

The expansive glass façade, with floor-to-ceiling windows stretching across the rear, invites the surrounding landscape inside, blurring the boundaries between indoors and out. The structure itself, a harmonious blend of steel, glass, and Irish limestone, exudes minimalist charm while being rooted in the organic textures of its environment.

Transitioning between the living and dining spaces, the attention to detail becomes even more apparent. A bespoke staircase, a true work of art, ascends to the second floor with its floating treads made from solid cherry wood. This serves not only as a functional element but also as a striking sculptural feature, connecting all elements seamlessly.

The home is a testament to the harmony of form and function, light and space, nature and design. It is an uncomplicated space that showcases art with exquisitely handcrafted objects, paintings, and items that give each room a unique and personal feel. The unique shapes offer depth and juxtaposition, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal.
