Perched atop the Telluride Ski Resort, this 475 square meter ski-in/ski-out home offers panoramic views of the San Juan Mountains. Designed by KA DesignWorks, the residence is surrounded by multiple 4000+ meter peaks in Southwestern Colorado. Guests are welcomed through a glass aperture at the entry, which opens to the forested ski area. Upon entering, they are immediately drawn to the upper level via a floating staircase with white oak treads and metal railing.

Ascending the stairs, guests encounter a striking wine feature just before reaching the great room, which boasts awe-inspiring nearly 180-degree views. This space serves as a viewing podium, enhanced by the light and glassy modern design. A prominent fireplace screens an adjacent structure while directing attention toward the mountains beyond. Large bi-fold doors provide access to an expansive deck equipped with seating, a fire pit, a dining area, an outdoor kitchen, and a hot tub. Both the primary suite and the guest suite have direct access to the wraparound deck.

The lower level features a spacious family and game room with a ski locker area that opens directly onto a deck adjacent to the ski trails. This level also includes a bunk room, two en-suite bedrooms, and a large combination mudroom and laundry room that connects to a two-car garage. KA DesignWorks has skillfully integrated the residence into its mountainous surroundings, offering both luxury and direct access to nature.

This home, designed by KA DesignWorks, provides a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living, making the most of its stunning location. The thoughtful design elements ensure that every aspect of the home takes advantage of the breathtaking views and natural beauty of the San Juan Mountains.
