Nikki Rees Ltd has recently completed a family home that exudes the epitome of British bespoke design. The project entailed transforming a Georgian-inspired new build house, complete with a modern rear extension, into a seamless blend of classic and contemporary aesthetics, spanning an impressive 5,200 sq ft.

The heart of this architectural marvel is undoubtedly the staircase, a creation by Harper Latter, that gracefully sweeps through the residence. The staircase, a focal point of the home, inspired a collaboration with renowned British lighting designer Tom Kirk. The outcome is a bespoke chandelier perfectly mirroring the staircase’s shape, enhancing the home’s aesthetic coherence.

At the base of this artistic staircase lies a table, born from the inspiration of wine rooms and tasting barrels. Ingeniously using leftover marble from the cloakroom, this table is a testament to sustainability and creative design. The design also pays homage to the glass reeded lights above, creating a harmonious connection within the space.

Nikki Rees Ltd ensured every element of this interior design project reflected bespoke craftsmanship, collaborating with prominent British designers, skilled local craftsmen, and artisans. The result is a truly bespoke and visually stunning interior, replete with discreet luxurious touches, exquisite hand-blown lighting, tailor-made carpentry, and handcrafted wallpapers.
