Daoust Design’s latest project, a 6,692 ft² chalet in Tremblant, is a testament to thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship. Every detail serves a purpose, creating a home that surprises, endures, and seamlessly connects with its surroundings.

Balancing sophistication with functionality, the layout fosters both connection and privacy. The main suite is a serene retreat, while the children’s wing encourages independence. At the heart of the home, a hidden speakeasy—concealed behind fur coats—transforms an ordinary moment into an immersive experience, reinforcing the project’s spirit of discovery and delight.

Natural materials define the space, from double-textured wood beams to custom fluted glass partitions, ensuring a refined yet inviting atmosphere. The steel staircase is both sculptural and practical, while European-inspired masonry and an expansive terrace root the home in its breathtaking setting. Oversized windows blur the boundary between indoors and out, making nature an integral part of daily life.

Expert artisans brought Daoust Design’s vision to life, from handcrafted woodwork and custom lighting to precise metal and glasswork. Every element enhances how the space is lived in, embodying the studio’s dedication to creativity, precision, and enduring quality.

More than a retreat, this chalet is a dialogue between architecture and nature, designed to evolve with its inhabitants. It reflects Daoust Design’s commitment to crafting spaces that inspire, surprise, and stand the test of time.
