Alejandra Pombo Studio undertook a comprehensive renovation of a residential property, focusing on enhancing the natural light that initially captivated the client. The existing home featured an internal gallery where light flowed, creating a magical ambiance. Preserving and amplifying this light became the central design element, guiding the transformation.

The project achieves a seamless balance between aesthetics and functionality, fully aligning with the family’s lifestyle. Each room reflects their habits, personality, and even personal style through the layout, colour scheme, and materials, ensuring the home feels uniquely theirs. The design is highly personalised, creating spaces that embody the family’s essence.

At the heart of the home lies a central courtyard, divided into two distinct zones. The first is a more intimate, family-oriented area with a cosier atmosphere and softer lighting. The second is a public, social space that opens expansively toward the outdoor garden, enhancing the flow between interior and exterior spaces.

Alejandra Pombo Studio employed a bespoke approach, with each design element custom-crafted to fit the specific dimensions and requirements of the space. This tailored strategy ensures that every piece harmonises with the architectural proportions while optimising both usability and aesthetic appeal.
