This apartment, thoughtfully redesigned by Anu Kewalram Interiors, features an open-plan kitchen, three bedrooms, and a generous terrace offering breathtaking city views. The design follows a clear modern minimalist direction—timeless yet refined—balancing function with aesthetic appeal, a necessity in compact urban living.

Maximising space and light was key. Large glass windows flood the interior with natural light and seamlessly connect the terrace with the indoors. Reflective surfaces and strategically placed mirrors amplify this brightness, creating an airy and expansive feel. Bespoke furniture and custom-built storage, crafted by a local joinery company, ensure every inch is purposeful while maintaining a clutter-free environment. Multi-functional pieces, such as foldable dining tables and concealed compartments, enhance versatility without compromising on style.

High-quality materials like marble and wood add understated elegance, with each marble tile carefully transported and installed despite challenging site conditions. Metal and glass doors, custom-designed to partition the kitchen, embody precision craftsmanship while preserving openness.

Lighting has been layered thoughtfully, combining natural light with integrated fixtures within built-ins and sculptural ceiling pieces, enhancing the ambience. Every element—from art selections, curated through close collaboration with artists, to the bespoke furniture—has been meticulously planned to ensure cohesive flow throughout.

The renovation was extensive, involving the complete overhaul of bathrooms, floors, and ceilings, all while navigating stringent building regulations and logistical hurdles. Yet, through attention to detail and unwavering dedication, Anu Kewalram Interiors has created a stylish, functional sanctuary that not only serves its occupants but harmonises beautifully with the surrounding cityscape.
