Location: London

Completion date: September 2014

One Tower Bridge occupies a prime position on London’s South Bank, between three of the city’s most important icons: Tower Bridge, the River Thames and the Tower of London. It is an exceptional new development of contemporary residencies, thoughtfully designed and luxuriously appointed throughout.

Honky’s brief was to create an interior space that would be luxurious, timeless and make the most of the beautiful views along the Thames and beyond. Designed to exceed expectations. Defined by its successful blend of authentic materials, elegant simplicity, classical style and graphic detailed accents. The resulting design we have created a tranquil, serene interior.

The team wanted to ensure a great experience on arrival, so where space allowed they made a feature to create the feeling of grandeur. In the entrance hall they emphasised a view or create a feature recess by combining materials of antique mirror separated by upholstered panels to create a striking feature. In the Master bedrooms rich toned timber panelling provides a deep base colour, which is over layered with a luxurious selection of fabrics to complete the sophisticated design. In contrast the treatment of the second suite is more playful, giving a nod and drawing on inspiration from the strong architectural details of the buildings exterior. The multi layered geometric mirror design using isometric triangles draws on theory of maths, and Islamic art and design technics to form this striking contemporary statement.
